Heavy-Duty Outdoor Corrosion Protection
MilCorr® VpCI® Shrink Film is more than just a tough barrier for outdoor storage. While it is made of heavy-duty film with high ultraviolet (UV) light protection to protect the integrity of the film and the equipment packaged inside, a defining factor of MilCorr® is its Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI/VpCI®). These provide corrosion protection to multi-metals both in direct contact with the VCI film and in recessed areas as the corrosion inhibitors vaporize, diffuse, and condense on metal surfaces within the enclosed space. Metal parts packaged in MilCorr® receive continuous protection against salt air and humid environments, moisture, aggressive industrial atmospheres, and dissimilar metal corrosion.
